Sporting Khalsa

The boys kicked off with confidence, showing sharp passing and a solid defensive shape. Early exchanges saw us hold firm, but Khalsa began to find pockets of space through the centre of the pitch, testing our goalkeeper with a series of shots. At half-time, we made a tactical adjustment – tightening up centrally and forcing play out wide. The change paid off, shifting momentum and allowing us to push higher up the pitch. We created several promising chances and kept the pressure on, but couldn’t quite find the finishing touch. A well-contested match against a disciplined side, with plenty of positives to take forward. The team showed maturity and resilience, and we’ve identified clear areas to develop in training.

Walsall Wood

Another strong start saw the boys play with energy, vision, and determination. Despite an early injury in defence and a limited bench, they dug deep and showed real character. Our goalkeeper was outstanding, pulling off a string of impressive saves to keep us in the game. Walsall Wood managed to break through twice in the first half, but the boys responded brilliantly. In the final 15 minutes, we dominated possession and pushed forward with intent. Asher found the net with a superb strike, and the team rallied behind him, creating multiple chances to level the game. The spirit and fight on display were exceptional – every player gave their all until the final whistle.
