Sporting Khalsa

Although the result didn’t go our way, the team showed encouraging signs in possession. They maintained control for long periods and passed with confidence and accuracy. The build-up play was composed and thoughtful, but we struggled to create clear chances in the final third. One area for improvement is the reaction after losing possession. We need to be quicker to press and recover shape. Sporting Khalsa were able to exploit these moments and convert their opportunities. A challenging match, but full of valuable lessons.

Pelsall Villa Falcons

A strong response from the boys. They came out focused and determined, showing real intent from the start. Movement off the ball was sharper, and the quality of passing – especially through balls – reflected the effort put in during training. Nathan opened the scoring after a well-timed assist from Szymon, who played a clever ball through the defence. Charlie A. followed up with a superb free kick, demonstrating both technique and confidence. The team played with unity and purpose, and individual development was clear across the pitch.

Parents’ Player of the Match – Henry

When moved into central midfield, he adapted quickly, showing great awareness and distributing the ball effectively. His performance reflected the principles the team has been working on in training – disciplined, thoughtful and team-focused.

Coaches’ Player of the Match – Mass

Mass delivered another excellent performance. His attitude is always positive and he’s consistently open to feedback. He played with determination and clarity, making strong contributions in both attack and defence. Beyond his technical play, Mass continues to be a source of encouragement for his teammates, lifting spirits and setting a positive tone even in difficult moments.
