WHY SUPPORT US?
In Walsall and its surrounding areas, young people face significant obstacles that prevent them from stepping onto the football pitch and experiencing the many benefits of the sport. The availability of pitch space is scarce, which makes finding a place to play highly competitive. Additionally, the costs associated with joining regular training sessions are often prohibitive for many families.

The situation has worsened in the aftermath of the COVID-19 lockdowns, where mental health issues and obesity rates among young people have reached unprecedented levels. Now, more than ever, we need the power of sport to support the well-being of our towns youth.

At Rushall Village FC, we firmly believe that no young person should be excluded from the joys and benefits of football. The impact of sport is well-documented; regular physical activity is essential for improving both mental and physical health, fostering a strong sense of community, and aiding in the development of young people throughout their childhood and adolescent years. Football can be a crucial outlet for those experiencing stress and anxiety, bringing joy and relief to young individuals who are facing challenges beyond their control.

With the support of our community, Rushall Village FC is proud to be making a difference in the lives of over 73 young people in Walsall and the surrounding area every week.
