About the Club
Rushall Village Football Club CIC is a not for profit grassroots football Club based in Walsall, West Midlands.

Founded in January 2024, Rushall Village Football Club (RVFC) was established not to be the largest or to boast the most advanced facilities, but to offer an affordable, community-centric alternative. At RVFC, we prioritize low membership costs, dedicated and committed coaches, and the sense of belonging among parents, players, coaches, and spectators. Here, every individual is not just a number but a valued member of our extended family.
Our Mission Statement
At Rushall, our mission is straightforward: to ensure that both children and coaches develop in tandem. This means our coaches are more than just parents who take on a team and then fade away. They begin as dedicated and committed parents, embracing the club’s ethos and principles. RVFC is committed to their continuous development, transforming them into knowledgeable coaches. This dedication ensures that children receive the best possible experience, learning and growing under the guidance of those who truly understand the game.
A Humble Beginning
The club commenced its journey with six teams: U9 Girls, U9 Boys, U10 Boys, U13 Mixed, U15 Boys, and a Ladies Team, all based at Rushall Cricket Club. By December 2024, we proudly acquired a lease for a new ground at Abbey Park in Bloxwich, marking a significant milestone in our expansion.
Remarkable Progress
As of December 2024, we have successfully trained 73 players, a commendable achievement for our inaugural year. At Rushall Village FC, we recognize that in today’s challenging climate, some children miss out on an active and healthy lifestyle due to financial constraints. Many families struggle with membership fees and the cost of necessary equipment.
Community Initiatives
To address these challenges, Rushall is continually developing and managing initiatives to keep children engaged in football. As of December 2024, we are proud to have several active initiatives aimed at making football accessible to all.
At Rushall Village FC, we are committed to fostering a nurturing environment where every child and coach can thrive, ensuring that football remains a joyous and inclusive experience for all.
Achieving CIC Status
In March 2025, Rushall Village FC proudly attained Community Interest Company (CIC) status. This designation is a significant milestone for our club, bringing numerous benefits and opportunities.
What is CIC Status?
A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a special type of limited company designed for social enterprises that want to use their profits and assets for the public good. CICs are regulated to ensure they operate for the benefit of the community, rather than for private advantage. Read about the benefits of CIC to RVFC below.
By becoming a CIC, Rushall Village FC reaffirms its dedication to serving the community and providing a nurturing environment for players, coaches, and families alike. This status will enable us to continue our growth and positively impact the lives of many more individuals.

Financial Support Program
At Rushall Village FC, we recognize that many families face financial challenges, making it difficult to cover household expenses, let alone after-school sports activities. However, we believe that no child should miss out on the benefits and joy of participating in football.
Our Financial Support initiative is designed to assist families by covering some or all of the membership costs. This support ensures that every child, regardless of their financial situation, has the opportunity to engage in sports, develop their skills, and be part of our community.
By removing financial barriers, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive and enjoy the game they love.

Football Rebooted
At Rushall Village FC, we understand that the cost of football boots can be a significant barrier for families already struggling to cover their essential expenses. When financial pressures are high, purchasing sports equipment, such as boots, often becomes an unaffordable luxury.
To address this issue, RVFC has partnered with Football Rebooted to provide free football boots to those in need. Simply contact us, and if we have a pair in your size, you can take them home at no cost.
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate in football, regardless of their financial situation. By providing essential equipment, we aim to make the sport accessible to all and support the development of young players in our community.
