Rushall Village FC’s U7s kicked off their season in style, showing discipline, teamwork, and flair across two impressive performances.

The morning began with a confident display against West Brom All Stars. The boys followed instructions superbly, held their shape, and fought for every ball, earning a deserved 2–0 lead at half-time thanks to goals from Bligh and Chester. Although West Brom applied pressure early in the second half and pulled one back, our lads responded with maturity and regained control, sealing a 3–1 victory with Chester’s second of the match.

Next up were Bentley FC Cobras, fresh off a win in their opening fixture. Once again, our defensive organisation shone through – our goalkeeper didn’t touch the ball in the first half, a testament to the team’s structure and effort. Chester added his third goal of the morning to give us the lead. The second half was tightly contested, but as the rain began to pour, our boys dug deep, winning key battles in midfield and creating chances. Harlen’s late strike secured a 2–0 win and capped off a fantastic morning of football.
