U11s Match Report: Bright Start, Tough Finish, and Lessons to Build On

Our U11s began the morning with real attacking intent, dominating the first ten minutes and registering multiple shots on goal – but every effort landed straight at the keeper, and we couldn’t find the breakthrough.

After conceding two goals, the team’s confidence dipped and the performance began to drift from the high standards we know they’re capable of. The second half brought another goal against us, but the boys showed resilience and responded with two well-worked finishes during spells of composed possession. Just as we looked to be back in the contest, a quick counterattack from the opposition caught us out, and the game slipped away. While the final result wasn’t the biggest disappointment, the overall team performance left plenty of room for reflection and improvement.

🏅 Trainer of the Week: Mason – his hard work over recent weeks is really starting to show, and his energy and commitment didn’t go unnoticed.

🏅 Manager’s Player of the Match: Leo W – growing in confidence and stature every week; it’s a joy to watch his development unfold.

🏅 Parents’ Player of the Match: Keason – showed real grit and determination in goal, bouncing back after setbacks and continuing to give his all for the team.

👏 Well done to all teams who played today, and thank you to our supporters for their continued encouragement.
