U10’s Vs NeXgen 🧡🩶 What a weekend of football for our U10 boys! We took part in Silent Support weekend and it couldn’t have gone better — the lads absolutely thrived without any instructions from the sidelines. It was brilliant to watch them organise themselves, communicate clearly on the pitch and play as a proper team. The game flowed beautifully with some really slick attacking moves, quick one-twos and clever runs that had everyone on the edge of their seats. The boys defended with real heart too, winning tackles and clearing danger calmly. Two fantastic goals capped off a brilliant performance — one from Charlie A and one from Reece — while Asher was an absolute rock, showing incredible strength, never giving up on any ball and battling for every inch of the pitch. A really proud day for everyone involved!
U10’s Vs Walsall Phoenix Falcons This one was a tougher test and started a little slowly after the unexpected break between matches. The boys looked a bit rusty early on and struggled to find their usual rhythm and drive in the first half. We had a quick team talk at half-time and the change was instant — suddenly the energy levels shot up! The second half was a completely different story as the lads pushed forward with real determination. Asher and Charlie A both grabbed goals to pull us right back into it, and we came so close to snatching a leveller right at the death. Huge credit to the boys for showing that fighting spirit and turning the game around — we just wish they’d started the match the way they finished it!
Parents Player of the Weekend – Reece 🥇 Reece was outstanding across both games and fully deserved this award. His strength, determination and non-stop running really stood out, especially in the first match where he led from the front. Well done, Reece — everyone noticed how hard you worked!
Managers Player of the Weekend – Asher 💪 Asher put in a huge shift all weekend, full of energy, positive attitude and quality moments going forward. He was strong in every challenge, created chances and showed great composure when it mattered. Brilliant effort, Asher — keep it up!
Well done to every single boy who played — you made us all proud this weekend! On to the next one! 💪⚽️
