What a brilliant morning of football for the Swifts U7s! Two competitive games, bags of effort, skill and teamwork on show – the boys are really coming together as a group. So many positives to take away! 👏
🆚 Game 1 vs Sporting Khalsa A fantastic all-round performance! The lads played with real confidence, attacking brilliantly through the middle and out wide.
The breakthrough came with Reggie scoring his FIRST EVER goal for the Swifts – an absolute proud moment for everyone! 🎉 From there we kept pushing, with Chester bagging a well-deserved brace and Joey adding a cool finish. Solid defending and non-stop energy earned us a well-merited clean sheet.
🆚 Game 2 vs Pelsall Villa Warriors A much tighter affair that really could have gone either way. Both sides defended strongly, but the Swifts showed great attacking intent and some superb individual defensive efforts.
We gave everything right until the final whistle, but were unlucky to come away with a narrow 1-0 defeat. Heads held high – that level of determination is exactly what we want to see.
🏆 Players of the Match Manager’s Player: Chester – outstanding attacking play combined with tireless work tracking back to help the team defensively. Led by example all morning!
Parents’ Player: Reggie – brilliant up and down the right wing and capped it with a fantastic first goal for the club. Thoroughly deserved!
Huge well done to every single player today – great attitudes, fantastic effort and clear progress.
Keep it going, Swifts… the best is yet to come! ⚽❤️
