In the first game, the team played some beautiful football, creating chance after chance. Eventually, we managed to get the ball over the line and take the lead. Opportunities kept coming, but we couldn’t capitalize to make it 2-0. Despite having plenty of possession, a cross came in and was unfortunately headed into our own net, ending the game at 1-1. While we didn’t deserve just a draw, that’s football! The performance was fantastic overall, with such positivity across the team. A special mention to the player who scored the own goal—he handled it brilliantly, took it on the chin, and responded by elevating his game and letting his performance do the talking.

The second game started in much the same way—with some lovely football, passing, and movement. It was a joy to watch! The boys scored three brilliant goals with equally excellent assists. It could have been an even bigger scoreline if it weren’t for their goalkeeper and the post (a couple of close calls). Huge well done to the team; they played with their hearts on their sleeves today.
