Rushall Village U15’sRecap
Sporting Khalsa – 3
Rushall village – 5
First league game of the season for us today and things didn’t start great no ref so a stand in agrees to ref the game, we didn’t let this affect us and a instruction goes out to the team to start the game fast to put sporting on the back foot. We score within 5 minutes with a great finish from Rio from outside the box. Confidence high we are playing some unbelievable football and leaving sporting chasing shadows. Sporting played very aggressive and direct and got a goal back but un fazed we trusted the process and continue to play and made it 2-1 from a corner from Alex just before halftime.
At half time we spoke about continuing to play football as sporting really couldn’t cope and despite what seemed like eight injuries during the game to our players including having to substitute the goal keeper we was unfazed and dominated the game. The football was breath taking how we moved the ball
around, making it 3-1 from a great passage of play, kayden sliding the ball through to Maurice to score, then minutes later 4-1 as Jareal finishes from a josh through ball, sporting pull a goal back to 4-2 but it didn’t worry the team and soon score again, Rio with great work on the right to pass to Josh who puts it in the top corner from 25 yards sparking great celebrations. Sporting score with the last kick to make it 3-5.
The last 3 weeks we have played tough opposition, but this team is consistently playing at a top level and have a great togetherness, the whole team played without fear and gave 110% today fought for everything even when the opposition tried to kick us around the pitch and came out on top. They have raised there game againest the best teams in division 1 and it fantastic to see. Bring on the champions next week !!! Nothing to lose pressure on them
Parents player – Steven , unbelievable on the pitch fought for everything and played 3 positions and was the first to say I’ll go in goal when Aaron had to come off.
