Built by the community,
for the community
Rushall Village FC was founded in 2024 with a straightforward aim — to create a football club in Walsall that genuinely puts families first. Not results. Not reputation. Families.
Within 15 months of our founding, we had achieved CIC status and secured the lease on Abbey Park in Bloxwich — a community ground that had sat unused for over 15 years, returned to the people of Walsall.
We now run 10 teams with 115+ players, from U7s all the way through to our development squads. Every single coach is FA-qualified and DBS-checked. And not one child has ever been turned away because their family couldn't afford the fees.
“Football is for everyone. No exceptions.”
This isn't just a tagline. It's the decision we make every day — when a family can't pay, when a child is nervous, when a coach needs training. We find a way.

Our values in action
Inclusion First
No child is ever turned away because of cost, ability, background, or anything else. We adapt, we support, and we find a way. Always.
Development Over Results
We measure success by player confidence and enjoyment, not trophies. Our coaches are trained to develop every child, not just the ones who are already good.
Safety & Safeguarding
Every coach is DBS-checked and FA-qualified. We have a dedicated Welfare Officer and take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously at every level of the club.
Community Rooted
We exist to serve Walsall and Bloxwich. As a CIC, every penny raised is reinvested directly into the club and its players.
Volunteer-Powered
Our coaches, managers, committee and support staff are all volunteers. People who give their time because they believe in what we're building for children in this community.
Always Improving
We fund coaching qualifications for our volunteers, invest in better facilities, and actively seek feedback from families. We're not finished — we're just getting started.
Abbey Park, Bloxwich
In December 2024 we acquired the lease on Abbey Park in Bloxwich — a ground that had sat unused for over 15 years. Returned to the community. Returned to football.
We're developing it into a facility the whole of Walsall can be proud of — with your support.
