Our team sprang into action right from the start, seizing an early opportunity to score the first goal. This early success ignited a wave of confidence that radiated through every player. We maintained relentless pressure on our opponents, executing a high press that consistently won us possession. This allowed us to comfortably control the midfield, culminating in a brilliant through ball from Rio to Maurice, who expertly netted his second goal.

Our Midfield Maestros, Immy and Ellis, were instrumental in dominating the central areas, making the midfield their own. Their efforts consistently disrupted the opposition’s play, either reclaiming the ball or pushing them wide to our waiting attackers. The third goal was a masterpiece of collaboration between Erin, Ellis, and Immy. Immy seized the moment to play Jareal in, and with his blistering speed, he quickly scored his first goal of the day.

Playing as a cohesive unit was crucial today. We executed our tactical plan flawlessly, both in and out of possession, applying everything we had honed in training.

The U13’s added two more goals, a testament to our outstanding defenders. Quick-thinking and decisive, Miles, Erin, Emily, Owen, and Josh played pivotal roles in thwarting the opposition and advancing the ball whenever possible. Their efforts were vital to the day’s success.

Finally, a shoutout to Aaron in goal—his performance was nothing short of superior. It was his best game this season, earning him a well-deserved Manager’s Player of the Match (POTM) award!

Well done U13’s!
